Astralis confidently defeated FaZe Clan 2-0 in an elimination match at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Danish side dominated on their own pick, Ancient, and later closed out Mirage without needing a decider. For FaZe, the loss marked the end of their campaign, finishing the event with a 1-3 record, while Astralis move on to compete in the 2-2 pool.

The series began on Ancient, chosen by Astralis. The Danish squad secured the majority of rounds on the T side in the first half, finishing it with a comfortable 8:4 lead. After the side switch, FaZe failed to find momentum on their T side and fell 5:13.

On their own map pick, FaZe managed to win only four rounds on the CT side. Although the second half was nearly even, Astralis were able to close things out, securing a 13:9 win on Mirage and sealing the series 2-0.

The best player of the match was ryu, who finished the series with 96 ADR and a 1.48 rating.

It was a disappointing loss for FaZe, who end their run at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 with a 1-3 record, placing 12th–14th and earning $9,375 for the team and the same amount for the organization. Astralis remain in contention and will have one more chance in the 2-2 bracket.

PGL Cluj-Napoca takes place from February 14 to 22, featuring 16 teams competing for $225,000 for first place, with a total prize pool of $1,250,000.
