FUT Defeat Astralis and Move to 2-1 at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026

FUT Esports secured a confident 2-0 victory over Astralis in the group stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, showing full control throughout the BO3 series. With this win, the Turkish side improved their record to 2-1 and moved closer to a playoff spot, while Astralis dropped to the 1-2 pool and now have to fight for survival.

Overpass (13:7 FUT)

FUT delivered a strong performance on their opponent’s map pick. Starting on the CT side, they controlled most of the key rounds and secured a dominant 9:3 lead in the first half. Despite Astralis attempting a comeback on their CT side, FUT comfortably closed Overpass 13:7.

Mirage (13:4 FUT)

On their own map pick, FUT left no chance for Astralis. Although Astralis had a decent start, winning the pistol round and the follow-up, they failed to capitalize on the advantage and lost the first half 4:8. After switching sides, Astralis were unable to win a single round on the T side, eventually falling 4:13.

Once again, dem0n was the standout player for FUT, finishing the series with 99.3 ADR and a 1.59 rating.

With this victory, FUT move to a 2-1 record and are now close to securing a playoff spot. Astralis, on the other hand, fall to the 1-2 bracket and must fight to stay in the tournament. PGL Cluj-Napoca runs from February 14 to 22, featuring 16 teams competing for $225,000 for first place, with a total prize pool of $1,250,000.
