The clash between FURIA Esports and B8 became one of the most competitive matches of the opening day at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. B8 put up a strong fight on both maps, but FURIA proved more composed in the decisive rounds. The Brazilian side secured a 2–0 victory and start the tournament with a 1–0 record, while B8 continue their run in the 0–1 bracket.

Mirage (13:11 FURIA)

The Brazilian squad faced a tough challenge on Mirage. The first half was closely contested, with B8 finishing it with a narrow 7:5 lead. After the side switch, FURIA increased the tempo on their T side, controlled key areas more effectively, and gradually took over the game. In the decisive rounds, the Brazilians stayed composed and closed out Mirage 13:11.

Inferno (13:10 FURIA)

On Inferno, FURIA looked stronger from the very first rounds. Their well-prepared defense allowed them to secure an 8:4 lead in the first half. After switching sides, B8 managed to respond on the T side and reduce the deficit, but in the crucial moments FURIA held their nerve and sealed the map 13:10.

The best player of the match was FURIA’s AWPer molodoy, who finished the series with 91 ADR and a 1.36 rating.

Despite a challenging series, FURIA secure the win and move forward with a 1–0 record. B8 were unable to close out key moments and continue their campaign in the 0–1 bracket. PGL Cluj-Napoca runs from February 14 to February 22, featuring 16 teams competing for $225,000 for first place, with a total prize pool of $1,250,000.
