The match between The MongolZ and FURIA at IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 2 delivered an intense showdown featuring comebacks, overtimes, and total domination on the decider map. Despite losing on their opponent’s map pick, the Brazilian squad managed to seize the momentum and close out the series with a confident 2:1 victory, knocking The MongolZ out of the tournament and continuing their run in the lower bracket.

Mirage (13:11 The MongolZ)

The MongolZ literally snatched the victory on their own map pick. The first half ended with FURIA holding a solid 8:4 lead, but the Mongolian side managed to bounce back on the CT side and close out Mirage with a narrow 13:11 win.

Inferno (16:13 FURIA)

The first half on Inferno was almost evenly contested. FURIA secured seven rounds on the T side. After the side switch, The MongolZ imposed their game plan and even reached match point, but failed to maintain control, allowing FURIA to push the map into overtime. There, the Brazilian team left no chances for their opponents and closed Inferno 16:13.

Nuke (13:2 FURIA)

On the deciding map, Nuke, The MongolZ were unable to put up a competitive fight. Playing on the T side, they managed to win only two rounds. FURIA gave no room for a comeback, and the second half was short-lived as they comfortably closed the map 13:2.

The best player of the match was YEKINDAR, who finished the series with a 1.39 rating.

FURIA secure a crucial victory that allows them to continue their lower-bracket run. The MongolZ end their IEM Krakow 2026 campaign in 13th–16th place, earning $10,000 in prize money. IEM Krakow Stage 2 runs from January 31 to February 3, where 16 teams compete for a spot in the playoffs.
