Fluxo defeat GamerLegion on Nuke and open the StarLadder Budapest Major with a win
Fluxo made a confident start at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, taking down GamerLegion 13–10 on Nuke. Despite entering the match as underdogs, the Brazilian squad turned the game around after the side switch and took full control in the second half. GamerLegion fought hard to stay in the match but couldn’t slow down their opponents — even with a standout performance from hypex, who earned the MVP title.
Nuke (13:10 Fluxo)
The Brazilian lineup came into the match as underdogs, but opening games often produce unexpected results. The first half of Nuke ended with a narrow advantage for GamerLegion. After switching to the CT side, however, Fluxo seized the initiative and pulled ahead 10–7. GamerLegion attempted to close the gap but couldn’t convert the key rounds, allowing Fluxo to close out the map 13–10.
Match MVP
Despite the loss, GamerLegion’s hypex was the top performer of the match — and the only player on his team to finish with a positive rating. He ended Nuke with 102.3 ADR, a +6.49% swing, and a 1.70 rating.
It’s a successful start for Fluxo, who move into the 1–0 bracket, while GamerLegion fall to 0–1. StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 1 runs from November 24 to 27, with 16 teams competing for eight spots in the second stage.
