
ESL Impact League Ends After Season 8
ESL Impact, the tournament series that became the main platform for the development of women’s Counter-Strike on the professional stage, is officially coming to an end. The organizers announced that the eighth season will be the final chapter in this story, which lasted for more than three years and brought fans many memorable moments.

The End of an Era for Women’s CS
ESL Impact was founded in 2022 with the goal of creating more opportunities for women in professional Counter-Strike. The tournament series quickly became an important part of the ESL ecosystem and gained popularity among fans. It helped women’s teams grow, provided a platform for new talents, and became the stage for the rise of true legends.
Over its history, ESL Impact League held seven completed seasons, with the following champions:
- Seasons 1–4 (2022–2023) — Nigma Galaxy
- Seasons 5–6 (2024) — Imperial Valkyries
- Season 7 (2025) — FURIA fe
The last, eighth season of ESL Impact League will take place on November 28–30, 2025. The participants will compete not only for prestige but also for the grand prize of $50,000. For many, this will be the chance to put the final mark on the great history of the women’s league and to prove that its legacy will continue beyond ESL.
