Counter-Strike 2 New Patch: CS2 Maps, Skins, Sniperscope and More
Counter-Strike 2 has rolled out a new update that expands its community-driven content while refining several gameplay systems. The patch introduces new maps, armory items, and spectator features, alongside a series of technical improvements.
While ESL Pro League Season 22 is live on the previous patch, players can explore four new community maps. Golden and Palacio have been added to Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch modes, while Rooftop and Transit arrive for Wingman. At the same time, older community maps, including Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery, have been rotated out of circulation.

The Armory receives notable additions, headlined by the Missing Link Community Charms collection with 23 player-made designs. The Dr. Boom Charms collection introduces 22 themed items, while the 2025 Community Stickers pack adds 29 new artworks. Fans of past designs can also look forward to the Sugarface 2 collection, which includes nine fresh stickers.
On the gameplay side, the scoreboard now properly tracks deaths from C4 detonations. Deathmatch mode has a limited Zeus-x27 kill streak bonus, and sniper scopes now display improved accuracy representation. Keychains will also jolt slightly when a player makes audible footsteps, adding a subtle layer of feedback.

Spectator mode has been updated with smoother camera transitions across select maps, automatic loadout closing at the end of a match, and detailed glove wear and patterns now visible when watching another player.
Beyond these highlights, the update makes several adjustments to skins, resolves crashes, and introduces new scripting functions for modders and creators working in Workshop Tools.
