Esports World Cup 2025 Trophy Features Ukrainian Inscription
At the Esports World Cup 2025 for CS2 much of the attention was captured not only by the competition itself but by the tournament’s distinctive main trophy.
The cup bears an inscription in Ukrainian:
«Ніщо не дається задарма – усе треба здобути»
“Nothing comes for free — everything must be earned.”
The choice of language is almost certainly a nod to the reigning champions, Natus Vincere, the Ukrainian club that lifted the EWC trophy last year.

The trophy’s design is equally symbolic: it resembles a plate with a hollow triangle at its center. The winning team places its own triangle — the club’s emblem — into that space, leaving a permanent mark of victory in the championship’s history.
