The match took place on the Ancient map between two teams that had won their opening stage games. MongolZ started on the attack. While MIBR had shown strong dominance over Virtus.pro in their previous Major match, they were decisively defeated by the Mongolian team, The MongolZ, with a score of 13-6.

From the very first rounds, The MongolZ showcased exceptional accuracy and swift actions, outclassing MIBR. Tactical missteps by the MongolZ allowed MIBR to secure six rounds, but the Brazilian side lacked the consistency needed for a comeback. The MongolZ's strategic preparation on Ancient, combined with superior aim, emerged as the decisive factor in their dominant victory.

The match kicked off with an intense pistol round. The Mongolian team found themselves in a 2v4 situation after quick frags from the Brazilians using USPs. However, the attacking player, Mzihno, with just 5 HP, managed to plant the bomb and clutch the round with an incredible quadro kill! A series of rounds in the same spirit pushes the Mongols to a 4-0 lead.

4-1 — MIBR capitalizes on a mistake by Mzihno, who still manages a solo double kill and plants the bomb, creating hope for a second quad-kill clutch.

The MongolZ feel at home on Ancient, a map they often pick against strong teams. MIBR secure their first solid round at 6-2, prompting a pause from the Mongols. At 6-3, coordinated defense punishes an overconfident attack, but MongolZ quickly recovers to make it 7-4. MIBR vs MongolZ responds with a brilliant eco round featuring an AWP, closing the half 7-5.

The Mongols take the second pistol round decisively. MIBR won the first full buy at 9-6 but struggled against MongolZ's calculated aggression, falling behind 10-6. Poor economy hampers MIBR, and MongolZ dominates the remaining rounds, leaving no clutch opportunities for their opponents.
