Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR: The First Team Eliminated From The RMR Has Been Revealed

Nemiga has triumphed over Rebels in a thrilling elimination match at the European RMR tournament, securing a 2-1 victory. The series was intense, with Nemiga winning on Vertigo 13-8, losing a nail-biting round on Anubis 23-25, and then rallying back to claim Ancient 19-17. The decisive map saw Nemiga come back from a 1-7 deficit, showcasing resilience and determination.

With this win, Nemiga now holds a 1-2 record and will fight for survival in the tournament tomorrow, November 19. Their opponent will be announced later.

On the other hand, Rebels have been eliminated from the European RMR, finishing at the bottom of the group standings.

The European RMR tournament in Group A is being held from November 17 to 20, with the top 7 teams advancing to the Shanghai Major.

Nemiga’s victory over Rebels marks another step toward their chance to qualify for the prestigious event, as the competition for spots in Shanghai heats up.

The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 is the first-ever Major hosted in China by the tournament operator Perfect World. It also marks the second Major in the history of CS2. This prestigious competition will take place in Shanghai, with matches hosted at the World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and the Oriental Sports Center.

Teams will compete for a substantial prize pool of $1,250,000 USD, making this event a significant milestone in the competitive CS2 scene.
