Gen.G Foundation launches Practicum Abroad programme for students from United States
1721Throughout Spring and Summer 2025, participants of the programme will have access to custom Esports programming, mentorship by Esports industry professionals, special lectures and networking opportunities. Local travel and accommodation are also included. Applications will open on November 15th.
In addition, Gen.G Foundation will continue its regular scholarship programme, which is primarily focused on women, people of colour, and low-income U.S. students with an interest in gaming, Esports, entrepreneurship, journalism or content creation. Students can still submit their credentials until November 6th to benefit from networking game nights and career lectures, including workshops with Gen.G employees and industry veterans.
The study abroad programme and scholarships are part of the Gen.G Foundation`s $1m pledge to advance education in the Esports and gaming industry. Since its establishment in 2020, the foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 40 students.
