Team Captains Boycott BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 Media Day in Protest Over Astralis Roster Change

The captains of nearly all teams participating in the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 for Counter-Strike 2 intentionally skipped the scheduled media day. Only Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov and Casper "cadiaN" Møller chose not to join the boycott.

As a result, players like Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski were absent from the pre-tournament photoshoot.

The boycott was organized as a form of protest over Astralis' decision to replace Alexander "br0" Bro with cadiaN, a move that players believe may violate tournament regulations.
