Netherlands fe Triumphs in Thrilling Final to Claim IESF Women's World Championship Title

Netherlands' female CS:GO team, clinched victory in the grand final of the IESF Women World Championship, not only claiming the prestigious trophy but also securing the grand prize of $40,000.

Their journey to victory was marked by flawless progress through the group stage, followed by hard-fought battles against Australia fe and Argentina fe in the lead-up to the grand final showdown. In a closely contested series, Netherlands fe once again emerged victorious against Argentina fe.

The initial setback occurred when Netherlands fe suffered a 13-16 defeat on Mirage. However, they swiftly rebounded with a commanding 16-6 win on Overpass. The decisive match unfolded on Inferno, extending to thirty intense rounds, where the Dutch team secured a narrow 16-14 victory, sealing their championship title.

The triumphant Dutch squad includes two NIP Impact players, Kiara "⁠Qiyarah⁠" Janssen and Naomi "⁠Nayomy⁠" Janssen. They are joined by Luna "⁠ManeschijnX⁠" Akkermans, who was the highest-rated player for the team in Romania, with Halat "⁠Missy⁠" Naby and Melania "⁠Gina⁠" Mylioti completing the talented roster.

This victory now establishes them as the second-ever IESF Women's World Champions, following in the footsteps of NAVI Javelins, who secured the title during the inaugural tournament held in Bali, Indonesia.
