Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen was a standout player for G2, especially for fantasy players who had chosen him for his affordable price. He tallied an impressive 49 kills and topped the scoreboard with a 1.36 rating. After the series, HooXi mentioned in an interview that it had been a while since they had played, so they were a bit rusty, but it felt good to secure some kills.

On Anubis, G2 started strong on the T side, taking a commanding 10-1 lead. However, Lynn Vision mounted a late comeback, tying the score at 15-15 and forcing overtime. In the end, G2's experience and skill prevailed as they won four out of the five rounds in overtime.

Inferno followed a similar pattern, with G2 initially taking a big lead. Lynn Vision showed signs of life late in the half, but G2 dominated on the CT side, securing a 16-5 victory and sealing the series 2-0.
