CCT West Europe Series 1 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from February 6 to February 23, 24 teams from Europe and the CIS fought for a total prize pool of $50,000 and rating points in the CCT regional table. The winner of the tournament was the Spirit Academy team, which in the grand final sensationally outplayed GamerLegion with a score of 2:1 (Inferno - 3:16; Nuke - 16:13; Mirage - 16:13).

The competition for the future winner began with an unfortunate defeat from EYEBALLERS (0:2). However, after that, the Dragons' youth team managed to outplay FTW Esports (2:0), Into The Breach (2:0) and Tricked Esport (2:0) to get into the playoffs.

Here Spirit Academy continued to destroy all expectations, as already in the first round they closed out BIG (2:0). Then the team managed to beat Team Falcons (2:0) and iNation (2:0). In the decisive match of the competition, the team was stronger than GamerLegion (2:1), thanks to which it became the winner of CCT West Europe Series 1 and earned a prize of $22,000.

It is noteworthy that iM from the GamerLegion team was recognized as the best player of the championship - the Romanian had an average rating of 1.35.
