CCT North America Series 2 has come to an end. As part of the competition, which was held online from November 25 to December 12, 24 teams from North and Latin America fought for a total prize pool of $25,000. The winner of the event was the Brazilian team paiN Gaming , which in the grand final was stronger than Nouns Esports with a score of 2:0 (Inferno - 22:19; Nuke - 16:6).

The tournament for the future winner began with the playoff stage, where he was invited by the organizers. Here the Brazilian team passed the first round, having received a technical victory over 1WIN. In the quarterfinals of the competition, the wards of rikz beat Evil Geniuses White (2:1), while in the semifinals the Brazilians beat MIBR (2:1) and made it to the grand final.

The decisive match of the tournament started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of Nouns Esports. At the same time, the series started with a huge advantage in favor of the North Americans, who closed the first half with a two-fold advantage. However, after switching sides, paiN Gaming not only reached the overtime limit, but also managed to take the lead in the series — 22:19.

The teams then moved to the Nuke map, which turned out to be paiN Gaming's choice. Here, the Brazilian team looked much better, as they managed to get an advantage already at the end of the half in attack. After the side switch, Nouns Esports completely disappeared from the radar, while paiN Gaming played confidently on defense and became the winner of CCT North America Series 2 — 16:6.
