The Outsiders team turned out to be stronger than MOUZ with a score of 2:1, thanks to which they reached the grand final of IEM Rio Major 2022. Here, dastan's wards will play with the winner of the next Heroic semi-final — FURIA. In turn, MOUZ finishes his performance at the Major, taking 3rd-4th place and earning $80,000 + 1,250 points in the BLAST Premier table.

The first semi-final series started on the map Ancient, which became the choice of the European team. At the same time, MOUZ started very briskly in the attack, managing to quickly break into the lead. However, the Outsiders joined the game further, adjusting to the opponent's attack and getting a twofold advantage before switching sides - 10:5. The second half began with technical difficulties, which partly prevented the Outsiders from winning the pistol round. In turn, the “mice” won the pistol series and approached the opponent. But here, dastan's wards again joined the game, showing several successful rounds to take the lead in the series — 16:10.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which turned out to be the choice of the Outsiders. Here MOUZ again started right off the bat, but at the equator of the half, the Russian team began to seize the initiative and run ahead. And yet, the “mice” managed to straighten things out a bit and get a slight advantage at the close of the first half – 9:6. After switching sides, the Outsiders managed to run ahead and gain a huge advantage. However, in the very end, MOUZ managed to find the opponent's weak point in order to equalize the score in the series - 16:14.

Everything was decided on the Inferno map, where the starting advantage remained with the Outsiders. At the equator, the "mice" managed to level the game, but dastan's men managed to finish the half with a three-round advantage - 9:6. However, after the side switch, MOUZ suddenly disappeared from the server, while the Outsiders players showed an extremely confident attack and knocked out a slot in the grand final of IEM Rio Major 2022 — 16:7.
