f0rest will take part in the upcoming Svenska Cupen 2022. The legendary Swedish player will help ex-Finest in the championship, which will be held from 14 to 16 October in Stockholm. The 34-year-old esportsman will replace kreaz, who probably decided to leave the team after the closure of the organization.

Last week, the Israeli organization Team Finest announced their retirement from esports and the closure of all their rosters. In its appeal, the club announced the departure of the main investors, as well as the general economic situation in the world, which, probably, was the reason for the corresponding decision.

f0rest made a name for himself over a decade ago when he won multiple TIER-1 tournaments in CS 1.6 with Fnatic. With a move to CS:GO , the 34-year-old Swedish player has continued to rock the competitive scene by becoming the champion of a number of big events:

  • ESL One: Cologne 2014
  • DreamHack Masters Malmo 2016
  • StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2
  • Intel Extreme Masters XI - Oakland
  • Intel Extreme Masters XII - Oakland

However, at the beginning of 2020, the veteran made the decision to move to Dignitas to revive the once-legendary Ninjas in Pajamas lineup. However, f0rest did not have a professional career here, because over the next two and a half seasons, the 24-year-old Swede won Elisa Invitational Spring 2020 and BLAST Nordic Masters: Spring 2021, and also did not qualify for any major.

Svenska Cupen 2022 will take place from 14 to 16 October in Stockholm at the Space Arena. As part of the championship, six local teams will compete for a prize fund of 500,000 kr. Other members include Ninjas in Pajamas, EYEBALLERS, Kappa Bar, Lilmix and 00 Prospects.

Ex-Finest squad for the upcoming Svenska Cupen 2022:
