OG defeats Complexity in the first round of Play-In at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022

The OG team outplayed Complexity 2:0 in the first round of Play-In at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. Now the ruggah wards will face the FaZe Clan team, while the North American team leaves the championship, occupying the last line.

The first match of the game day started on the Ancient map, which became the choice of the OG team. At the same time, ruggah's wards increased the pace of the game too quickly, which the opponent could not cope with. As a result, OG played a confident half in the attack, managing to get a comfortable advantage — 11:4. It seemed that the European team would quickly close the map and go to rest. However, the excessive connivance of the favorite, coupled with good preparations from Complexity, allowed the North Americans to come close to the opponent. And yet, OG had the skill to prevent a failure, thus closing the pick in their favor — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which turned out to be the choice of Complexity. Here the European team began to quickly correct their mistakes in defense on the previous map, seizing the initiative. As a result, nexa and the company managed to get a comfortable advantage, repeating the outcome of the first half on Ancient — 11:4. After the change of sides, there was no intrigue left from the word "absolutely", since OG won the pistol round and, on inertia, got to the desired result. As a result, ruggah's wards managed to close the opponent's pick and get through to the next round of the Play-In stage at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 — 16:4.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 takes place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are competing for a total prize pool of $177,498, rating points, and six tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
