Elisa Esports named new details of the third season
Elisa Esports spoke about the new details of the upcoming Elisa Open Suomi Season 3. Now we know when the qualifying round, group stage and playoffs will take place.
In June, the announcement of the tournament took place, at that moment Elisa Esports refrained from providing more detailed information about the event.
Qualifiers will start on August 22. The best teams will go to Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, which will be held in November. The venue will be the Espoo Metro Arena in Espoo, Finland.
The tournament will feature 12 teams that will share a total prize pool of $10,000. The winner will take home the main prize of $5,000. The teams will be divided into two groups of six teams. Matches will have an unusual format for CS:GO - Bo2. The top four from each sextet will advance to the playoffs. In the final stage, the teams will fight in Bo3 matches, presumably in the single-elimination bracket, which is great for eight participants.
