The teams MIBR and Movistar Riders got their first wins at ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 at DreamHack. In the first round of the group stage, the teams managed to cope with Rare Atom (16:12) and HUMMER (16:0), respectively, thus being one step away from reaching the playoffs. In turn, Rare Atom and HUMMER will compete for the right not to be eliminated from the championship.

MIBR - Rare Atom

The first meeting of the gaming day took place on the Overpass map, the first half of which ended with a sensational lead by the Chinese team. Nevertheless, after the change of sides, MIBR managed to quickly level the difference, and at the same time take the lead. At some point, Rare Atom managed to return to the fight again, creating intrigue. Nevertheless, the Brazilian team managed to hold back the onslaught of the opponent, and at the same time to get the first victory in the framework — 16:12.

HUMMER - Movistar Riders

The second match took place on the Nuke map, where the Spanish team got the right to start on the defense side. As a result, Movistar Riders took advantage of the gift from the competition regulations to close the half with a crushing score of 15:0. Well, after the switch of sides, the Spanish team managed to win the pistol round in order to complete the rout and get the first victory at ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 at DreamHack — 16:0.

ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 at DreamHack takes place from 1 to 3 July in Spain at Feria Valencia. Eight teams from all over the world are fighting for a prize pool of $100,000, ranking points, and a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will go to the winner.
