ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022 gave us many interesting matches, but the most anticipated ones are ahead. Today we'll talk about the meeting between the Outsiders and Rare Atom, which determined the first participant in the grand final.

List of maps

  • Rare Atom chose Inferno
  • Outsiders chose Vertigo

Dust2, Nuke, Ancient, Overpass are banned, Mirage remains.

The first match took place on Inferno and started in favor of Rare Atom, who took the pistol round and the next two rounds, however, the Outsiders quickly regained what they had lost and just as confidently began to take the lead. They were leading 10-5 before the switchover. After that, Rare Atom began to rapidly reduce the gap, and over the next few rounds the score became 13-11 in favor of the latter. The last part of the match was tense, but ultimately ended with the victory of the Outsiders 16-12. Fame showed the best result among the winners, finishing the match with a score of 20-6

The second match took place on Vertigo, and then Rare Atom confirmed their choice, winning the pistol round and the next 4 rounds. Even despite the efforts of the Outsiders before the changeover, the score was 11-4 not in their favor, it already began to seem that Rare Atom would easily squeeze the opponents, and the third map would be waiting for us. But then the Outsiders showed something incredible, easily leveling the score to 13-13. Then the final stage of the game began, both teams tried their best to put the squeeze on their opponents, but as we see Rare Atom could not do it, the match ended with the victory of the Outsiders 16-14. The best result among the winners was shown by FL1T finishing the map with a ratio of 31-16.

As a result of a tense match, the Outsiders advance to the grand final where they will meet the winner of the Sprout - Movistar Riders pair, and compete for a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. Rare Atom, in turn, leave the stage from 3rd-4th places, earning $10,000.
