The German esports organization BIG has announced that it will perform at the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 without a head coach. It is reported that gob b has contracted the coronavirus and will not be able to help the team in the upcoming matches, while k1to, who had previously arrived in Lisbon as a stand-in, will take his place.

Unfortunately, gob b tested positive for coronavirus earlier today and he will not be able to support the team at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022. In his absence, k1to will help us again, but now as our coach at this event!

Note that these are not the first changes in the composition of the German team, which announced k1to as a stand-in the day before. However, a few hours ago it became known that Krimbo recovered from the coronavirus and returned to the BIG starting lineup for BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022.

BIG will certainly look forward to the return of the 34-year-old German specialist to the Altice Arena. However, for this the team will have to get at least one victory in the group stage, as well as gob b himself to have time to recover before the start of the playoffs.

BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 takes place from June 15 to 19 in Lisbon at the Altice Arena. As part of the championship, the eight best teams of the spring season from Europe and North America are fighting for a prize pool of $425,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, and a ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.

Team BIG will perform at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 in group B together with NAVI, ENCE and OG. In the first round of the group stage, the German team will play against ENCE.
