Getting ready for the start of ESL Impact League Season 1

In just a few hours, ESL Impact League Season 1 will begin. Over the next three days, eight of the best representatives of the female scene will compete for a prize pool of $123,000. The championship itself will take place in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, while we offer a closer look at the first TIER-1 tournament for women in CS:GO.

Format of the ESL Impact League Season 1

The championship will be held in two stages:

  • Group stage (June 3-4).
  • Playoffs (June 5).

As part of the group stage, eight participants are divided into two groups (four teams each). The opening matches of the ESL Impact League Season 1 group stage will take place in the BO1 format, as well as all the remaining matches in the BO3 format.

Group A:

  • BIG EQUIPA, Counter Logic Gaming Red, Black Dragons Female and Mindfreak.

Group B:

  • Nigma Galaxy Female, Please Send Help, FURIA Esports Female and ATK Female.

Two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs in the following format: The winner of group A will play the second team from group B, and vice versa. All ESL Impact League Season 1 playoff matches will be held in BO3 format.

Prize pool distribution for ESL Impact League Season 1

  • 1st place: $50,000.
  • 2nd place: $25,000
  • 3rd-4th place: $13,000.
  • 5th-6th place: $7,000.
  • 7th-8th place: $4,000.

ESL Impact League Season 1 will take place June 3-5 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. As part of the championship, eight women's teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, South Africa, North and South America will compete for a prize pool of $123,000.
