Twistzz on ENCE: “I feel like ENCE play the style closest to our team”
Ihor MatusOne of the FaZe Clan players Russell 'Twistzz' van Dalken gave an interview for the HLTV portal, in which he spoke specifically about the playing style of ENCE and FaZe Clan. This happened after FaZe failed to beat ENCE and Russell van Dalken tried to explain the reason for the defeat.
He believes that the main four's long game together is critical to ENCE's recent success:
They've been together, minus maden, but the core has been together for a while I'd say. Obviously over time the core gets really really strong individually or there are weaknesses in the core eventually down the road. For them, they have really good players individually it can be hard to play against and to be honest when I watch ENCE play I feel like they play the style closest to our team, so it can be hard to play a team that kind of mimics in the flow of the game, you know? They are very good playing with momentum. Not many teams can capitalize on momentum but I feel like us and ENCE really know how to nail it down.
Twistzz believes that the public's discontent towards IEM Dallas is due to the lack of rest of the participants who came there:
The public is clearly kinda saying the event sucks or whatever, you know? The only thing that is weird about this event, besides all the teams dropping out, is that it's instantly after the Major, there's not really a gap. It can be hard for the teams that came from the Major to go here, if they didn't go far in the Major, per se.
Russell spoke about the mood FaZe Clan players came to IEM Dallas with:
For us, we have the mindset of: come here, do our best, enjoy the moment, play on the stage again, the crowd is always a blessing, and try our best to win. It's not like we're so harsh on ourselves if things don't go our way.
