The management of the Ukrainian tournament operator WePlay Esports announced the exclusion of the Outlaws team from the WePlay Academy League Season 4. As a reason, they named their attitude towards Russian clubs and confirmed their complete isolation from them. As a result, none of the teams that have natives of Russia will be able to take part in the championships of the Ukrainian tournament operator. Who will replace the Outlaws later or what will happen to their slot at the event will be announced at a later date.

We bring vibachennya - we recognize our fault and understand your situation. Our company does not have regular contracts with organizations from the Russian Federation, and the latter will continue to reach these positions.

WePlay Academy League Season 4 starts on May 24th and ends on April 26th. The total league prize pool for academic rosters will be $100,000. The teams will start their journey from the group stage. There, 14 teams are divided into two groups of seven participants each. The teams will fight in Bo1 matches for the right to reach the playoffs. The teams that take the lead in the groups will immediately go to the playoffs, and the rosters that are on the 2nd-6th lines in the group stage table will be forced to continue their way to the play-in stage. In addition, the higher the team is placed in the group stage table, the better will be its seeding in the play-in and closer to the final. Play-In will be held in the double-elimination bracket and will allow the two best participants to take part in the playoffs. All matches of the group stage will be held in the Bo-1 format, and the rest of the matches will be in a series of up to two victories.
