Copenhagen Flames becomes the last participant in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 playoffs

The Copenhagen Flames team defeated Imperial Esports with a score of 2:0 and became the last participant in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 playoffs. In the quarterfinals of the competition, the Danish team will play with ENCE.

The final confrontation of the fifth round started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. However, Imperial Esports quickly regretted their decision, as they received 13 rounds from the Danes at once. As a result, it was not difficult for Copenhagen Flames to close the map in their favor and take the lead in this series — 16:2.

Then the teams moved to the Vertigo map, which became the logical choice of the Danish team. But if the start of the first half was left for the Copenhagen Flames, then before the changeover, the Brazilians managed to slightly close the gap, gaining six rounds. The side switch helped the Brazilians wake up as Imperial Esports' experience allowed the team to make it to overtime. And yet, Copenhagen Flames turned out to be much more successful, closing down the opponent and making it to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 — 22:18.
