BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 North America has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from April 27 to May 1, eight teams from North and South America competed for a prize pool of $67,500, rating points in the BLAST Premier table, and one slot in BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. The winner of the tournament became the paiN team, which in the grand final sensationally defeated FURIA with a score of 2:0 (Vertigo - 22:20; Inferno - 16:8).

The tournament for the Brazilian team was supposed to be a failure from the very beginning, since paiN's opponents included such teams as Team Liquid and MIBR. However, the wards of rikz first outplayed the "liquids" with a score of 2:1, and in the semifinals they dealt with their compatriots from MIBR with a score of 2:0.

In the final confrontation that began on the Vertigo map, paiN again had to do the impossible in order to close an experienced opponent in overtime and take the lead in the series. Well, on Inferno, the opponent finally swam, which allowed paiN to win the championship and qualify for BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022.
