In addition to the fact that all the group stage meetings will be held in an online format, the organizers decided to hold a LAN final without spectators.

From the very beginning, the group stage was planned to be held in the island state of Malta. Recently, authorities introduced a ban on air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus. Now the organizers want to gather all the participants in Europe so that everyone plays with the same ping. Some Schengen eSports clubs are ready to help teams and, if possible, will welcome guests to their bootcamp areas, giving players the opportunity to play comfortably.

In order to avoid the risks of infection and completely cancel the event, the organizers decided to move the LAN-finals from the United States to Europe. All funds spent on tickets will be returned to the audience.

FACEIT has recently come to a similar decision, who will hold the group stage matches of FLASHPOINT Season 1 in the online format, and the LAN finals in the studio without spectators.

ESL Pro League Season 11 starts on March 16th and ends on April 12th. 24 participants will share a common prize pool of $ 750,000.
