Pinnacle Cup IV announced
4383Tournament operator Relog Media has partnered with betting company Pinnacle to announce the Pinnacle Cup IV, the next iteration of their $100,000 online championship. The start of the championship is scheduled for Monday, April 25.
The event will again be divided into three parts:
- Play-in stage.
- The main Swiss stage.
- Playoffs.
The winner of the championship will receive $80,000. As part of the first stage of the championship, 16 teams will compete for four tickets to the next stage of the Pinnacle Cup IV. These four teams will advance to the main Swiss round, where they will be joined by 12 other invited participants. Here, the teams will compete for eight tickets to the playoffs, where four more teams will be invited, starting from the quarter-final stage.
It is reported that the first two stages of Pinnacle Cup IV will last until May 6, and the championship playoffs will take place after the end of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 on May 25-27, when four teams will be directly invited to the quarterfinals.
