NAVI, FaZe Clan and Astralis received invitations to IEM Dallas 2022

The tournament operator ESL has presented the list of invited teams for IEM Dallas 2022. Among the "lucky" were many well-known teams, including NaVi, FaZe Clan and Astralis.

Invitations to IEM Dallas 2022 were issued according to two criteria: the presence of a partnership with the organizer, as well as the team's current rating in the ESL Pro Tour table.

Astralis, NAVI, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pajamas and Team Vitality will act as partner teams at the event. In turn, given the position in the ESL Pro Tour table, the invites to IEM Dallas 2022 went to the teams ENCE, FURIA, Heroic and Players (Gambit).

Interestingly, earlier it was reported that players from Russia could not fly to the United States. In this regard, the fate of Players, as well as players from the NAVI and G2 Esports teams, remains unclear.

The remaining six places in the championship will be determined by the results of qualifications. Europe and North America have two slots each, while Oceania and South America have one slot each at IEM Dallas 2022.

Qualifiers for IEM Dallas 2022:

• First European Qualifier: April 11-12.
• Second European Qualifier: April 13-14.
• Closed qualification for Europe: May 2-4.
• First North American Qualifier: April 17-18.
• Second North American Qualifier: April 19-20.
• Closed qualifier for North America: April 22-24.
• First South American qualifier: April 18-19.
• Second South American qualifier: April 20-21.
• Closed qualifier for South America: April 23-24.
• First open qualifier in Oceania: April 18-19.
• Second Open Qualifier in Oceania: April 20-21.
• Closed qualification for Oceania: April 23-24.

IEM Dallas 2022 will take place from May 30 to June 5 in the United States at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Sixteen teams from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $250,000, as well as ranking points in the ESL Pro Tour table.
