NIP advanced to the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 15

The NiP team defeated Team Liquid with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 15. Now the Swedish team will face ENCE, which previously turned out to be stronger than Movistar Riders with a score of 2:1.

The confrontation between NIP and Team Liquid started on the Ancient map, which became the choice of the North American team. And yet, in the end, NIP managed to hold several quick rounds, thus closing the opponent's pick in their favor — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the NIP choice. Here, the Swedes failed to show all their preparations in the attack, as Team Liquid predicted the direction over and over again and provided a twofold advantage in the score. After switching sides, NIP tried to win back, but in vain. As a result, the North American team got the necessary rounds and equalized the score in the series — 16:14.

Everything was decided on the Inferno map, where Team Liquid, having shown an impressive start, lost the advantage and allowed the Swedes to finish the first half in their favor — 8:7. After the change of sides, the NIP players only strengthened their dominant position on the server, showing a confident attack. As a result, the Swedish team put Team Liquid on the shoulder blades and made it to the semi-finals of the competition — 16:12.
