BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022: Vitality advanced to the grand final of group C

In a tense fight, the Vitality team outplayed FaZe Clan (19:15) as part of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 and reached the grand final of group C. In turn, the European team fell to the lower bracket, where they will play again with Team Liquid, which previously turned out to be stronger than Evil Geniuses (19:17).

Vitality-FaZe Clan

The third match of the gaming day took place again on the Inferno map. However, this time FaZe Clan already had an overwhelming advantage in the first half, brilliantly converting their superiority into 12 won rounds. After the side switch, the European team continued to dominate the server, seemingly putting the opponent on their backs. The players of Vitality did not agree with this alignment, who made a comeback, and then pulled out a victory in overtime — 19:15.

Evil Geniuses-Team Liquid

The North American derby also took place on the Inferno map. At the same time, Evil Geniuses showed an unexpectedly strong game in attack, managing to get a twofold advantage before switching sides. At some point, "Evil Geniuses" could close the series, leaving a significant lead. However, the round, won with one AWP, returned confidence to the players of Team Liquid, who quickly turned the tide of the match, managing to gain a foothold on the server and take the game to overtime. Here, the "liquid" did not let go, having obtained a strong-willed victory in the North American derby - 19:17.

After this defeat, the Evil Geniuses team fell to the quarterfinals of the Play-In stage, where BIG will meet, who previously took 3rd place in Group A.
