Release Date of First-Person Mode in Fortnite

Epic Games has officially announced that the First Person Camera Mode device will enter Beta on December 11, 2024, in the current Fortnite New Chapter as the Sixth Chapter. Initially, the feature will be exclusive to Fortnite’s Creative mode, meaning it will only be available to custom map creators at launch.
As clarified during the State of Unreal presentation in March 2024, the first-person mode will not debut in the main Battle Royale game modes. However, there is speculation that as the feature evolves and is tested, it may eventually be introduced to both Zero Build and traditional Build modes.
Creators looking to implement this feature in their maps can access it through Fortnite’s Creator portal. The option will be found under the menu path: Fortnite > Devices > Experiment. This limited release is a step towards integrating the first-person perspective, potentially reshaping how Fortnite is played in the future.
