What Do We Know about "Nine-Tailed Ahri" - Next Ultimate LoL Skin: Release Date, Price, Design, History of Creation
Yuriy SheremetRiot Games has achieved "cosmetic" mastery in League of Legends. The world's most popular MOBA boasts thousands of skins to suit every taste and colour, but even amongst this vast selection, there is one that stands out - the Ultimate LoL Skins.
Ultimate Skins in League of Legend are unique items, of which there are only 7 in a game that boasts hundreds of sets: Elementalist Lux, Spirit Guard Udyr, DJ Sona, Pulsefire Ezreal, K/DA ALL OUT Seraphine, Gun Goddess Miss Fortune and Soul Fighter Samira. Soon, there will be more of them: the next LoL UltimateSkin will be on Ahri - Nine-Tailed Ahri.
While the skin is far from appearing in Riot Games shop, we are ready to tell you everything we know about Nine-Tailed Ahri: price, release date, creation history. And also - is it real?
When will the new Ultimate Skin - Nine-Tailed Ahri appear in League of Legends?
With the release date of Nine-Tailed Ahri everything is quite ambiguous. To be honest, the next LoL Ultimate Skin doesn't have one yet. However, we can still try to predict the day when a new rare Ahri cosmetic item will hit the League of Legends shop.
First, we need to understand when the Ultimate Skin on Samira was released - Soul Fighter Samira, the last Ultimate Skin available at the time of writing. The unique item for the unique ADC appeared in the game on July 20, 2023, along with the release of Naafiri. Before Soul Fighter, LoL added the LoL Ultimate Skin for Seraphine - on 29 October 2020. That's a difference of almost 3 years.
Such strong yardstick gap the release of rare skins makes one think that Ahri will get his Ultimate Skin not at all soon. However, in the case of everyone's favourite (unless you like spiders, of course. Sorry, Elise) trickster in League of Legends, the gap won't be as sharp, and he'll be released this year (almost certainly). I'm betting on the second half of the year so it could fit into League of Legends Roadmap 2024. All because the Riot developers are seriously loaded with skinning work.

Why is Ahri getting his Ultimate LoL Skin already this year?
When we talk about Nine-Tailed Ahri, it's important to realise that there have been no official announcements from Riot Games. However, we do have the Faker.
The skinning story on Ahri is pretty funny in the League of Legends community. The thing is that every Worlds champion can choose his own image, and so in 2023, T1 won, and Faker chose the skin on Ahri. Later, the legendary leader decided to change his choice in favour of Orianna, as Ahri already has plenty of cosmetic items (Ahri has 17 skins in LoL). It was a real blow to the community, but it was a quick recovery.
On one of the broadcasts, Faker said that Ahri fans are in for something nice next year. What is that if not the Ultimate Skin for one of the league's most famous characters outside of the League?
By the way, Faker isn't the only one hinting at the upcoming news about a new Ultimate Skin for Ahri - a Twitter (X) artist by the nickname MINagami has been teasering on his profile about the developments regarding Ahri.
As far as I'm concerned, that's enough to believe in the release of a new Ultimate Skin in 2024.
Why will Nine-Tailed Ahri be the next Ultimate Skin in LoL?
It's pretty simple. Ahri has a whopping 17 skins. This is a huge number even by the standards of the League, where many characters have more than 10 skins. This fact is enough to believe that the next skin will be the Ultimate one.
How much will the Nine-Tailed Ultimates skin for Ahri cost?
All ultimates skins in LoL are expensive. All images of this quality, with the exception of the Pulsefire Ezreal Ultimate Skin, cost a lot. Each set (and these are sets, because in addition to the skin are icons, banners and so on) costs 3250 RP, which in translation into real money is 35 euros. If Ultimate LoL Ahri Skin will get to the shop, it will cost - 3250 RP.
