Titan Quest II Early Access Main Quest Walkthrough

Titan Quest 2 is now available in Early Access, and many players are wondering how long the main campaign takes and what quests it includes. In this blog, I’ve gathered all the up-to-date information about the main storyline available at launch, along with a full list of the main quests you’ll be taking on.
What to Expect from the Story in Titan Quest 2
What can you expect from Titan Quest 2? It’s a classic action RPG set against the backdrop of ancient mythology, filled with battles, loot, and a familiar linear structure. The game doesn’t try to reinvent the genre — instead, it focuses on time-tested mechanics, satisfying progression, and the rich atmosphere of ancient Greece. In this post, I’ll walk you through the main quests available in the Early Access version and how long it’ll take to complete the story campaign.
How Long Does It Take to Beat Titan Quest 2?

According to the game’s Steam page, the Early Access version of Titan Quest 2 offers around 15 hours of content. However, if you're wondering how long to beat Titan Quest 2, the answer depends on your playstyle. If you focus solely on the main story, it should take you roughly 4 to 6 hours to complete — especially if you're using an efficient early-game build.
The 15-hour estimate includes not just the story quests, but also side missions and unmarked locations scattered across the first zone — Pyrgos Village and its surroundings. Keep in mind that many side quests aren’t marked on the map, so you’ll need to explore and interact with NPCs to discover them.

Main Quests in Titan Quest 2

At the time of the Early Access release, the game features five main story quests, referred to in-game as Fated Quests. Most of them take place in the Pyrgos Village region, and they follow a linear progression — players will move step by step through the key areas of the current act.
Prologue/ Tutorial (Proti Island):
- The Hunt Begins
- The Queen of the Mountain
Act 1 (Pyrgos Village):
- On a Strange Shore
- The Town on the Hill
- The Search for the Sea God
- The Wild God
- Whispers of the Moirai
In addition to the main storyline, the Pyrgos Village region is filled with side quests. These optional missions not only flesh out the world but also provide extra gameplay time. So take your time exploring — many quest-giving NPCs aren’t marked on the map and can easily be missed if you rush.
If you’re struggling with progression or want a strong starting point, try the powerful Titan Quest 2: Infinity Ice Shards build. It’s a great way to experience the game from a fresh perspective and better understand how key mechanics work. From there, you’ll be able to experiment with your own builds confidently.
What’s next for Titan Quest 2?

The game is still in Early Access, and it already shows a lot of potential. Hopefully, the developers will significantly expand the main storyline and add more side quests within the base game — not as paid DLC. Right now, the project looks promising, but by modern ARPG standards, a 4–6 hour main campaign feels a bit short. With future updates, we hope Titan Quest 2 evolves into a truly large-scale and immersive adventure.
