TI10: Team Aster may well become champions

We are gradually moving on to the Chinese teams that have a good chance of winning The International 10, Team Aster is next. The latest news about this team is that the entire squad fell ill with the coronavirus COVID-19, despite this, Valve allowed players to play at TI10 in an isolation room.

Team Aster had wonderful results for 2021, but failed in two Majors, taking 9-12th place, but at the same time, they played with a substitute in Singapore. In their home region - China, they ruined everyone at almost every event, with the only exception of OGA Dota PIT Season 5 China and FMWH Dota2 Championship Season 3.

  • White Album (23 years old)

Monet (max 3 seat)

  • 7th-8th place at The International 2019 as part of Royal Never Give Up
  • 3rd place at The International 2017 with LGD.Forever Young

The mid-leader of Team Aster has never played at The International, the most experienced LaNm, at the last TI9 he played with Monet for Royal Never Give Up and took 7th-8th place there. Xxs and Borax have previously played The International together for two years in a row and have not shown themselves very consistently in iG.

I expect great results from Team Aster at The International 10, the absence of spectators will definitely benefit the team, they will also be in their comfort zone, since they have COVID-19, the only thing that can be health drawdowns. In my understanding, Team Aster may well cling to the championship at The International 10, this would give about 20%. It all depends on the grid, but they should definitely have 7-8 places.

Mini Prediction: at least 7-8 place at The International 10 for Team Aster

Bookmakers give 24 odds on Team Aster's victory at The International 10, and reaching the final is estimated at 10.5. I don't fully understand why this Chinese team is so underestimated, they will definitely surprise.
