NAVI changes roster and prepares for Poland
Maksym YushytsynIn the updated rating from HLTV, the famous Ukrainian team Natus Vincere retained its eighth line. Although over the past year, the composition of this CS: GO team has undergone a number of major changes.
As noted by the Russian Bet ON, the team's management has recently been actively looking for new players.
In May 2019, the old-timer Edward left the team, replaced by the young talent Kirill 'Boombl4' Mikhailov, who quickly took root in the team.
In September, after a flurry of criticism for a disastrous performance at the Berlin Major, a veteran of the KS movement, NaVi captain Danilo 'Zeus' Teslenko, left the team. It was obvious that Zeus had lost his playing condition, and brought fuss and dismoral to the team.
In place of Zeus, the leadership signed the Slovak GuardiaN (Ladislav Kovacs). Unfortunately, Guardian did not manage to reach his real level of playing in Navi. Many experts find the reason for Guardian's poor play, because of certain tricks on the part of Simple, from whose "assaults", Guardian literally shook hands.
As a result, in January 2020, Guardian said goodbye to NaVi, and Ilya 'Perfecto' Zalutsky took his place.
Perfecto played for Syman Gaming and has won only three thousand dollars in prize money so far. However, the bosses of Natus Vincere were attracted by his talent and potential, which could allow him to become one of the best in his discipline. This deal earned Syman Gaming about $ 200,000.
In addition, Alexander 'S1mple' Kostylev is still in the team. Most recently, he stopped short of his second consecutive Player of the Year title. In 2019, he received one MVP title and, together with the Ukrainian team, won the prestigious StarLadder StarSeries i-League Season 7 tournament.
As a reminder, Natus Vincere was invited to take part in the Intel Extreme Masters Season XIV - World Championship tournament. This event will be held in Poland at the end of February, and bookmakers believe that NAVI has a good chance of winning it. Note that the tournament will be attended by sixteen teams that will compete for half a million dollars.
