Meet Milio, the new League of Legends champion: Character abilities, release date and role in the game

The Ravine of the Summoners is preparing to welcome a new resident of the League of Legends. Milio, a young fire mage and charismatic mage, is the new resident of the League of Legends.

Milio is a kind boy from Ishtal who, despite his young age, has mastered the axiom of fire and discovered an unexpected property in it: a gentle healing flame. With this talent, Milio hopes to join Yuntal, as his grandmother once did, and bring his family back from exile. He has already made his way through the Ishaokan jungle and now prepares to pass the exam under Vidalion to enter Yuntal, unaware of the trials and dangers that lie ahead.

That's how the creators from Riot Games describe Milio. Well, soon we'll be able to see for ourselves the skills of the Ishtarite, and try to accompany the boy on his way to Yuntal, before raising a couple of dozen LPs, of course.

Milio's Skills

Milio relies on the power of fire in combat, as is customary with flame warlocks. Milio's abilities allow him to attack foes as well as heal allies.

Passive - Fired Up

Milio's abilities enchant allies at the touch, causing their next spell or attack to deal additional damage and ignite the target.

- Ultra Mega Fire Kick

Milio kicks a ball that kicks away the first enemy he sees. On impact, the ball bounces behind the target, dealing damage and slowing enemies in the area of impact.

- Cozy Campfire

Create a boost zone that heals allies and increases attack range for those inside. The zone follows the ally closest to the application point.

- Warm Hugs

Milio places a shield on an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.

- Breath of Life

Milio unleashes a wave of healing flame that heals allies and removes their effects.

Milio's Role in the Game

Millio is a support champion who specializes in buffing his allies. He belongs to the Enchanter class, having similar mechanics to Karma and Yummi.

The latter becomes apparent with a closer look at the abilities. From his passive skill to his ulth, Milio relies on his teammates.

While we don't know the numbers and parameters of the abilities yet, we can already say that the character will take his place among the leaders of Solo Que. At first glance, the abilities don't seem to require much mechanical effort: out of 4 active abilities, 1 is a targeting ability, 1 is massive, and two are cast on area, suggesting Milio's dependence on position in the fight.

Milio in League of Legends release date and price

The flame mage Milio will appear in League of Legends when update 13.6 is released, which is after 2 patches. At the time the character was announced, patch 13.4 was installed in the client, and a 13.5 update is being prepared for release.

Knowing Riot's stability and their meticulous approach to releasing new content in the game, Milio should arrive on March 22, 2023. The Champions release calendar from Riot also shows this.
