Gunning for success: Winning in CSGO games
Bogdan LashchenkoCSGO has stood against the test of time since it became a big hit in its release in 2012. The FPS game took the world by storm and proved that it can even rise as a better standard for a lot of future games, which is why there are a lot of players joining the hype.
As far as the games go, there is still more to expect from CSGO games up to this moment. The recent updates have kept veteran players in the loop and they have also embraced the big changes as well. There are some who have tried to get a new change of pace and found success in CSGO.
The game's tourneys led to the rise of CSGO betting. Fans and enthusiasts of the sport bet on the best teams and players all over the world. In turn, there were a lot of betting markets that proved to be the better market for most punters in the modern era.
Learning how to play CSGO is easy. There aren't many complicated details to look out for, so it is safe to say that gaming can go smoothly as most players like. This is what made CSGO one of the best games to play even up to this date.
Picking the best maps
CSGO has a lot of maps to choose from. Playing on a map that the player knows so well means that it is a win. There are a lot of changes in the game compared to the original Counter-Strike in the 2000s, but fans have been familiar with the game’s interface over the years.
The same maps are still there, such as De_Dust and many other classic places. This is why there are some players who know a lot of hiding spots in some maps for veteran players.
When choosing a map, it is best to consider how the players know it well. Rookie players should try maps that have a lot of room to move into. Aztec, Inferno and Villa are maps that can be used well to train since these maps are not that twisting enough to confuse players.
For those who are looking for a challenge, it all boils down to Dust. This is the classic map that most CS players have known for a long time, and the improved graphics of CSGO’s new game engine makes it feel real for a lot of players at this point.
Dust is one of the toughest maps to play in. It is far from the usual map that has a normal layout with three exits and three entrances for both teams. There are two bomb sites that come into play so it is an extra challenge for a lot of players to at least memorise the whole map.
Strategy for Terrorists
Perhaps playing either as a Terrorist or a Counter-Terrorist is one of the tricky aspects of CSGO and its previous editions. This gives a lot of thrill for games since players also have to change tactics when the round shifts as teams switch sides.
Playing as a Terrorist is simple when it comes to winning. They just have a few goals to get to, either planting a bomb, running out the time (if there are hostages) or taking out a VIP on Escort mode. Terrorists are described as reckless and daring people, and based on true terrorists, they give no quarter in the game as well.
In most modes such as casual or extreme, Terrorists’ goal is to plant a single bomb in one of two or three bomb sites on the map. They have to fight their way through the map and get to a site and place the bomb.
Once the bomb is planted, Terrorists have to defend and hold their ground to ensure the bomb goes off. They will be killed but the round is won. However, players can also opt to wipe out the opposing team to preserve their weapons and sets.
Winning as Counter-Terrorists
On the other hand, Counter-Terrorists have to deal with a lot of pressure in the game. The only way they can win certain rounds is to either defuse a bomb, rescue a hostage, and lead the VIP to a safe place (on Escort mode).
Rescuing a hostage can be an option in some maps and it even rewards them with a lot of money for every hostage rescued. This puts them in harm’s way since a player’s speed is reduced if they have a hostage in tow. This is one of the intense parts of CSGO betting since not every team can succeed in rescuing most hostages in a single round.
A win can be achieved by the CTs if they find a way to beat the clock and defuse a planted bomb by the Terrorists. That is still a big risk in most contests, so the best way to win is to just take out the whole opposing squad instead.
