Exalted Skin: Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser Details

Riot Games developers have announced a new Ascended skin for Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser. Riot shared this information on their YouTube channel, releasing an exciting preview for the new skin. With this skin, Mordekaiser returns to the time when he was still human, before his ascension.

Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser Skin Release Date

Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser is set to arrive on March 5 alongside update 25.C1.5. This update will also mark the end of the first act of the first season of 2025, dedicated to Noxus. Additionally, Masterwork Milestones will be disabled, and players will automatically receive all earned rewards.

Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser Price

The new Ascended skin for Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser will only be available through the gacha system (The Sanctum), similar to Radiant Serpent Sett and Arcane Fractured Jinx, making it an exclusive skin as well. It is guaranteed to drop after 80 pulls, with a maximum cost of 32,000 RP (~$250). This skin will not be available through standard methods such as the in-game shop or skin shard rerolls.

What is Exalted Skins?

The Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser skin gives us a glimpse of Mordekaiser before his transformation into a Lich. A unique feature of Exalted Skins is their three alternate forms, which can be switched in-game using Ctrl + 5. Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser is no exception, offering different color variations for the champion. Let’s take a look at his appearances:

• First form: The base look with dominant gold and bright red tones, representing Mordekaiser’s human essence.
• Second form: A transitional form with intensified gold and red elements, symbolizing his path to ascension.
• Third form: The final form, featuring dark red and shadowy effects, emphasizing his transformation into a Lich.

This skin clearly showcases Mordekaiser’s evolution into a Lich, portraying his rise from a mighty human to an immortal undead being.

Exalted Skin Problems

Of course, like any skin from the Exalted line, this one has its downsides, and the first is the price. For many fans, $250 is a significant amount, and the fact that the skin is only obtainable through the gacha system makes it even more frustrating.

Even before its release, this skin has already faced criticism from fans. One of the main concerns is that the base model remains almost unchanged. Many players feel that for such a high price, the skin should offer more noticeable visual and animation upgrades.

Another issue is the lack of significant differences between the forms. The first and second forms look almost identical, which is disappointing. Given the premium nature of the skin, fans expected a clearer visual evolution to better reflect Mordekaiser’s transformation.
