Bounty Hunter Guide

Bounty Hunter Guide

Bounty Hunter cannot be called a reliable hero in hard, since he does not have massive ultimates, he cannot absorb a lot of damage or bring control into a fight. It is better to take this character just for a change, or to the fourth position and play the greedy support, which will give additional gold to the team and vision during ganks.

Pros and cons of the hero

pros

  • Can move around the map in invisibility.
  • Gives bonus gold to allies
  • Good against invisible heroes
  • With a good start, can single-handedly kill opponents

Minuses

  • Weak on the line
  • Low health
  • Not mobile
  • Farms the forest slowly

Hero abilities

Shuriken toss

Launches a deadly shuriken at the enemy, dealing damage and briefly stunning the target. The shuriken will bounce between enemies marked with Track within 1200 radius of each other.

Bounce Radius: 1200
Damage: 80/120/160/200
Stun Duration: 0.1
Aghanim Upgrade: Decreases cooldown, increases cast range, and adds Jinada's effect to the shuriken.
  • Shuriken first deals damage, then applies a debuff
  • In order for the shuriken to bounce, the original target does not need to be hit by Track

Jinada

The hero carefully thinks out the next attack, dealing additional damage and stealing the victim's unreliable gold.

Additional Damage: 60/100/140/180
Steals gold: 12/20/28/36

  • If the ability is not on cooldown, then the Bounty Hunter weapon emits particle effects;
  • Additional damage is given as a bonus while the ability is not on cooldown, and is taken away at the start of cooldown;
  • Steals only unreliable gold, taking it away from the target and adding abilities as an unreliable owner;
  • Steals gold only when attacking enemy heroes, including clones, but excluding illusions;
  • When attacking any other creatures (including buildings and wards), only additional damage is inflicted, and the ability itself goes to recharge;
  • Does not affect allies: does not steal gold and does not deal additional damage.
Shadow walk

The hero becomes invisible and gains the ability to pass through creatures until he uses another ability or strikes. Stealth attack will slow down the victim.

Time to Invisibility: 1/0.75/0.5/0.25
Move Speed Slow: 16%/24%/32%/40%
Duration: 20/25/30/35
Slow Duration: 4
The ability can be improved by using a shard: (Reduces damage taken while invisible by 35%. An attack from invisibility stuns the target for 1 second. Decreases cooldown by 5 seconds. Incoming damage reduction: 35% Stun duration: 1)
  • Does not interrupt casting spells;
  • The attack first deals damage, then applies the Shadow Walk debuff;
  • As long as the time before invisibility lasts, Bounty Hunter can use spells, objects and make an attack without leaving invisibility;
  • Shadow Walk allows the Bounty Hunter to pass through other creatures, including wards, but excluding buildings;
  • Bounty Hunter can pick up, throw or attack objects without breaking invisibility.

Track

Bounty Hunter Guide. Photo 4

Marks an enemy hero, revealing their invisibility and showing their gold reserves. The owner of the ability gains additional movement speed near the target and deals critical damage to it. If she dies, nearby allies and the owner of the ability will receive an additional reward in the form of gold. Using this ability does not remove invisibility.

Add. Self Movement Speed: 16%/20%/24%
Caster Critical Strike on Target: 140%/170%/200%
Add. gold to yourself: 130/225/320 (380/475/570)
Bonus Gold to Allies: 40/80/120 (290/330/370)
Shuriken Toss Damage Multiplier: 1.4/1.7/2
Aura Linger Duration: 0.5
Duration: 30

  • Contrary to visual effects, the Track debuff is instantly applied to the target;
  • Gives unreliable gold to Bounty Hunter and his allies around the target after it dies, it doesn't matter how the target dies;
  • Track can be applied to illusions and Ark Warden's ultimate, but their death does not bring gold;
  • The additional movement speed is provided by the target's aura. Her buff lingers for 0.5 seconds. Multiple sources of aura do not stack;
  • Track's visuals and sound are visible and audible only to Bounty Hunter and his allies. In this case, the debuff is visible to everyone;
  • The visual effects of the movement speed buff are also visible to everyone;
  • The debuff icon displays the current amount of gold on the target.

What is unreliable gold?

The bounty hunter takes exactly unreliable gold from other players, so it's worth knowing what it is.

The player's gold is divided into reliable gold and unreliable gold. Passive gold growth for each player, as well as gold for activating the runes of wealth, is considered reliable gold, while gold from all other sources is considered unreliable gold.

The difference between these categories is how each gold is spent:

  • Death only takes gold from an unreliable supply of gold.
  • When purchasing items, unreliable gold is used first, and only then reliable.
  • Ransom uses reliable gold first.

If you hover the mouse over the amount of total gold on the interface, then your reliable and unreliable gold will be displayed in the tooltip.

Ability boost

We will play either as an offlaner, or more often as a four. In both cases, our main early game ability will be Jinada. Shuriken will need to be taken 1 time to get additional substation and damage. Maxing inviz does not make much sense, since it does not give big bonuses.

Talents

Bounty Hunter Guide. Photo 6

In terms of talents, everything is simple, you can't think of any deviations. The most important talent, as usual, is at level 25. He works in conjunction with the aghanim, which gives the shurikens the effect of ginada.

Items

Examples of assemblies for offlaners:

The times of playing through BF and desol are long gone, now our main subject is aghanim, it makes the shuriken many times stronger, before that you can collect intermediate artifacts that will give additional stats and density. Further, in order not to die, they take bkb first. With the purchase of a bunch of aghanim + octarine, the enemies begin to suffer mentally in the batch from the fact that too much gold is taken from them.

Gameplay

If we play the role of an offlaner, then we stand and try to farm the creeps, trying to periodically jab at the enemy heroes. The hero's lane is not very good, it is quite easy to drive him out, and there will be problems with forest farming. Therefore, if everything gets really bad, then just stand and get experience, with the receipt of the ultimate, start looking for the first frags in order to return to the game.

After the lines, in midgame, we need to try to look for frags solo or together with a team, while giving allies an understanding of the location of enemies to control the map. If your team begins to actively push one of the lanes, especially when it comes to the last tower on the lane, then the main task of Bounty Hunter will be to use the ult in advance and thus see the enemies who are on a hill and have an advantage. In any team battle, Bounty Hunter should first of all use the tracks as often as possible and provide a good vision for his allies.

At all stages of the game, the main advantage of Bounty Hunter is its invisibility. At the same time, the hero himself has a very small reserve of health and can be easy prey for heroes with powerful abilities and good control skills.

Bounty Hunter requires extremely aggressive play and well-coordinated actions from your team. Passive farming is contraindicated for this hero.
