Nosferatu 2024 is a remake of the iconic 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. The original was loosely based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, though due to legal issues, Murnau had to alter the names of the characters and modify the plot.

The movie is famous for introducing the plot device of a vampire's death from sunlight, a detail that was not part of Stoker's original novel, where Dracula can appear in daylight. The Blood of Dawnwalker 2026

An incredibly exciting upcoming game from a Polish studio led by people with experience working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We’re definitely starting with the hottest example of vampire games today. At the time of writing this article, the cinematic trailer is only two days old, and I'm really looking forward to trying it after what I've seen.

Set in an alternate 14th-century Europe, the game unfolds in a world where vampires have overthrown feudal lords. Now a Dawnwalker, Coen must choose between rescuing his family or seeking revenge.

There is currently no official release date for The Blood of Dawnwalker. While developer Rebel Wolves and publisher Bandai Namco have yet to announce a launch date, they have confirmed that more details and gameplay will be revealed in the summer of 2025. This suggests that the earliest possible release could be in 2026.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a 2010 survival horror adventure game developed by Frictional Games, where I explored the terrifying Castle Brennenburg. The challenge was to maintain sanity while avoiding monsters and solving puzzles.

The game introduces a unique mechanic where staying in the dark for too long, witnessing disturbing events, or staring at monsters reduces Daniel’s sanity, leading to hallucinations and attracting even more dangers. Light sources and tinderboxes help restore sanity, adding an element of resource management to the gameplay.

The game’s plot unfolds in 1839 as Daniel, with no memory of his past, is hunted by a mysterious force known as the Shadow. He must navigate the castle to find and kill the baron, Alexander, in the Inner Sanctum. Amnesia: The Dark Descent became a critical and commercial success, praised for its atmosphere and gameplay mechanics, which also helped spark the popularity of Let's Play videos. A more challenging "Hard Mode" offers even scarcer resources and tougher enemies, enhancing the horror experience.

Silent Hill 2 Remake

Wick is a chilling survival horror game that had me braving the woods, haunted by the restless spirits of missing children. As I ventured deeper into the darkness, I could feel the eerie presence of something unseen lurking just beyond the light.

Armed with nothing but a few candles and limited matches, I had to carefully manage my light sources to keep my fear in check. The more I wandered, the more terrifying the enemies became, always lurking, waiting for the moment to strike. Each hour was a race against time, and I soon realized that staying in the light wasn't just a strategy, it was the key to survival.

The game had me playing as a teen in a twisted version of the camp game Wick, where I had to survive from Midnight to 6 AM in a forest full of deadly ghosts. Each hour presented new challenges, with the map shifting and candles being my only protection against the creeping shadows. As I gathered clues, I was faced with the task of evading each terrifying entity that appeared, learning quickly what worked and what didn’t. The fear would rise as the darkness closed in, making each decision to move or hide crucial, and keeping me on edge until the very end.

Vampire Survivors

I dove into Vampire Survivors, taking on wave after wave of monsters in a desperate attempt to survive the relentless onslaught. With each level-up, I carefully chose new weapons and upgrades, but nothing could prepare me for the terrifying moment when The Reaper arrived, signaling the end of my run.

The game had me controlling a character with auto-attacking weapons, frantically collecting experience gems and food to stay alive as I explored increasingly dangerous stages. The thrill of unlocking new characters, weapons, and power-ups kept me hooked, but the looming threat of the Reaper always kept me on edge as the clock ticked down.

Savage Lands

As I began my adventure in Snowmere, I quickly set up my Myriade settings to ensure a smooth gameplay experience, adjusting the key bindings and audio to suit my preferences. The game recommended fine-tuning my visuals based on my system's capabilities, making sure I was ready for the eerie environment ahead.

Stranded with nothing but a journal, I quickly realized that survival would require resourcefulness; chopping down trees, mining rocks, and gathering basic supplies like apples and ice became my first priorities. While hunting non-hostile animals for food, I learned that using a wood bow from a distance was essential, as any noise could alert the island's predators, so crouching helped me remain undetected.

Little Nightmares

As I navigated the eerie world of Little Nightmares, I felt the weight of helplessness with Six, a little girl in a yellow raincoat, as she sneaked through the dark corridors of the Maw. With only a lighter to guide me, I had to rely on stealth, solving platforming puzzles and avoiding grotesque monsters lurking in every corner.

The game’s haunting atmosphere heightened as Six’s hunger plagued her, and after a tense encounter with the Janitor, I managed to escape by severing his long, twisted arms. The sense of isolation and dread in the Maw deepened as I encountered Nomes, mysterious creatures that added to the oppressive feeling of being trapped in a monstrous world.

A Vampyre Story

A Vampyre Story is a point-and-click adventure game set in the 1890s, blending gothic charm with humor. It follows Mona De Lafitte, a Parisian opera singer turned vampire, as she seeks to escape from Draxsylvania to return to Paris and reclaim her dream of fame. Alongside her sarcastic bat companion, Froderick, Mona navigates the challenges of her new undead existence.

The gameplay offers a nostalgic nod to classic LucasArts adventures, with a point-and-click interface and context-sensitive radial menu. Mona's supernatural abilities and vulnerabilities introduce unique puzzle-solving mechanics, requiring creative use of her vampiric powers to progress in her journey home. Here you can note a large number of clichés and light humor, it is not bad to relax after the pressure of horror movies and meditate in a spooky vibe.

At the end of 2024, a sequel to the game was announced! The reveal trailer and gameplay were showcased on the developer’s YouTube channel. The kindest series among games with vampires for PC!
