Icons Global Championship 2022 to be held in Singapore
/Riot Games has announced that the Icons Global Championship 2022 will take place this summer in Singapore at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre. The championship will begin on June 14 and end on July 9.
The event was originally supposed to take place in Europe. However, Riot Games explained that due to the coronavirus pandemic complicating visa applications, the decision was made to move the championship to another country.

Icons Global Championship 2022 is the final championship of the Wild Rift esports season. 24 teams will take part in the tournament, 8 of which will start their journey from the group stage, while 16 will debut from the Play-In stage.
