VALORANT Champions 2021 to be held in Berlin
Out of the blue, Riot Games has unveiled Berlin as the venue for VALORANT Champions 2021. Just a week before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, the developers have unveiled plans for the end of the 2021 VCT season.
Riot Games said complications from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic influenced the choice of Berlin as the venue for VALORANT Champions 2021. The press release notes that Germany, as well as the European Union as a whole, have created the most favorable conditions for the congress of players from all over the world.
The news came as a shock to the community as rumors of a possible VALORANT Champions 2021 in Los Angeles have been brewing for months. Moreover, some sources claimed that Riot Games was actively preparing for the presentation of the championship in the vastness of the United States.
VALORANT Champions 2021 will take place from December 2 to 12 in Berlin at the Verti Music Hall. 16 teams from North America, EMEA (Europe, CIS and Turkey), Latin America, South Korea, Japan, South America, Oceania, Brazil and Southeast Asia will compete to become the best team of the VCT 2021 season.
