Bren Esports is the second grand finalist of VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs

The final of the lower bracket of VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has ended, in which the Bren Esports team was stronger than Alter Ego with a score of 2: 0. Thanks to this victory, the Filipino team reached the grand final of the championship, in which they will try to take revenge on Paper Rex, and also earned a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.

The fight began on the Haven map. However, there was not much struggle as the Bren Esports players showed a strong attack and secured a comfortable advantage for themselves. As a result, nine rounds were enough to ensure the victory in the second half and lead the series - 13: 8.

Ascent started out in a similar style, although now Bren Esports have played well in defense, having won the same nine rounds before the changeover. Despite a good start for Alter Ego in the second half, the favorite recovered the economy and began to gain round after round, which closed all questions about the winner - 13: 6.

VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs runs from August 13-22 online. 16 teams from Southeast Asia are competing for a prize pool of $ 100,000, precious VCT Circuit Points, and two tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
