ZETA DIVISION wins VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs
/The VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs has come to an end. At the championship, which took place from August 12 to 15, the eight best Japanese teams competed for a prize pool of $ 18,110, precious VCT Circuit Points, and two tickets to VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. The champion of the tournament was unexpectedly the ZETA DIVISION team, which sensationally outplayed Crazy Raccoon in the grand final with a score of 3: 2.
The tournament for the future winner began sadly, because already in the semifinals ZETA DIVISION lost to Northeption with a score of 1: 2 and fell into the lower bracket. However, there the team gathered strength to close Feeling (2: 0) and FENNEL (2: 0), in order to further take revenge on Northeption (2: 0) and go to the grand final.
The decisive match turned out to be quite tense, as ZETA DIVISION quickly seized the initiative, winning the first two maps. However, here Crazy Raccoon woke up to return to the fight and level the score in the series. Nevertheless, luck favored ZETA DIVISION more, allowing the team to show two confident sides on the Ascent map and defeat the opponent.
