In the Upper Quarterfinals of VALORANT Champions 2025, North American representatives NRG proved their strength with a convincing 2-0 sweep over GIANTX.

The map veto left Haven, Lotus, and Abyss in the pool, but the series ended quickly after just two games. On Haven, the pick of GIANTX, NRG were absolutely dominant, dismantling their opponents with a crushing 13-1 victory that set the tone for the series. Moving to Lotus, chosen by NRG, the North American squad maintained their momentum, controlling the pace of the game and closing it out with a 13-5 scoreline despite GIANTX’s attempts to fight back. With this win, NRG not only advanced to the next round of the upper bracket but also showcased the form that makes them one of the main contenders for the championship title. For GIANTX, the defeat sends them down to the lower bracket, where the path becomes significantly harder, as every match will now be an elimination test on their way to staying alive in the tournament.
