As part of the championship, which was held from May 21 to June 26 in Seoul at several venues (Sangam Colosseum and Daejeon Esports Arena), eight South Korean teams fought for a prize pool of $81,013, rating points, and a slot on the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 2 - Copenhagen. The winner of the tournament was the DRX team, which in the grand final was stronger than Maru Gaming with a score of 3:0 (Split - 13:4; Haven - 13:9; Ascent - 13:3).
The tournament for the future winner began with a confident performance in the group stage, during which DRX got seven victories and did not suffer a single defeat. Having made it to the playoffs, the South Korean team took turns beating World Game Star (2:0), DAMWON Gaming (2:0) and Maru Gaming (3:0), thanks to which they qualified for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen.
