NRG, FaZe Clan, TSM and Luminosity Gaming qualified for VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers
The first open qualifier for VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers has ended, as a result of which the teams NRG, FaZe Clan, TSM and Luminosity Gaming have earned the right to play in the summer split.
The first lucky winner was the NRG team, which outplayed Zero MarksMen Black (2:0), Knights (2:0) and Version1 (2:0) in the open qualifiers. At the same time, the FaZe Clan team knocked out their slot at the VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, which coped with VIRTUOSO (2:1), Sentinels (2:1) and TSM (2:1).
Through the lower bracket, TSM and Luminosity Gaming qualified for the championship, which in the matches for the slot turned out to be stronger than 100 Thieves (2:1) and Version1 (2:1), respectively.

The current line-up for VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers is as follows: The Guard, OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, XSET, NRG, FaZe Clan, TSM and Luminosity Gaming. The championship will be held online from May 13 to June 26. The remaining four participants of the championship will be determined by the results of the second qualification, which will be held from May 5 to 8.
